It is life-changing for both the parent and their child to move from their 40-year-old home to a new location. We decided to move my father, who is 92 years old and has early-stage dementia, from Florida to Colorado. He lives near us. We considered every retirement community in Parker, but we chose Lincoln Meadows due to the people. Their compassion for residents is evident from the moment you meet them. While you will see communities with more "shine", what matters most to our family was the support and assistance my father received. This is not an easy transition and can be very stressful for the family. Lincoln Meadows has been there to support us throughout the process.Staff have been an incredible rock and they helped us make the right choice. The entire team takes the time to get to know each parent and makes them feel at home. It is difficult to choose a facility for your parents. But, focus on the care and not the beautiful finishes. Anyone can open up a beautiful asset. Make sure you know the people behind it. The transition can be difficult, but it is worth it. I'm so happy to see my dad enjoying his life again after two years. My mother-in law has been a resident at Atria for many years. Recently, she moved to Assisted Living. Her manager at Atria, is a great friend. He has been so supportive during her transition. Their COVID care was excellent, even though she missed many of her friends. They even set up a Zoom Call with her entire family for Christmas that she really enjoyed. Atria is a great choice for your loved ones.

Our mom was moved here by us in July 2021. She was unhappy at another facility, where she lived before moving here. Bonadventure is a large apartment with friendly staff and many activities. Mom, my sister, and I chose Bonadventure for our mom. Mom lives in a large, one-bedroom apartment with a fully equipped kitchen and a huge bathroom. Many of the comments about changing staff were very true, but my experience was a little different. Assisted-Living Director, was there when mom moved in. The Director has become like a family member. She takes care of all my mom's needs. Due to Parkinson's, my mom must have her pills every day. She listened to my mom's needs and made arrangements to ensure that she gets her pills every day within the 30 minute time frame. It is difficult to do this with so many residents, but it is possible. It will happen, I know that. My mom's day med tech, is still there. She is great with my mom. The housekeeper, still there. Every week, mom's house is cleaned. The driver, is still there. He is patient with the elderly and has a great attitude. The director of the facility is very welcoming and accommodating. She also has an open policy for family members. That is what I love. It gives me the confidence that I will get the answers I need, if I ever have a question. Bingo, happy hour, exercise class, gardening, book club and day trips to Walmart, King Soopers, or scenic drives are all things Mom enjoys. She is a good friend and enjoys the community. We regret not having chosen Bonadventure sooner. Here, Mom is doing well. As a daughter, I can't ask for more. She is happy, well looked after and she is very content. Bonadventure staff, thank you for all you do to make my mom happy, safe and comfortable.

After breaking my sacrum, I was unable to care for myself at home so I spent a week at Brookdale Greenwood Village. Excellent care. Staff were kind and caring. Excellent food. Cleanliness was excellent. The occupational and physical therapists were knowledgeable and helpful. The facility is highly recommended by me and my friends.
